Emine Erdogan Hosts Jordan’s Queen Rania in Istanbul Visit

(MENAFN) Turkish first lady Emine Erdogan met Jordan’s Queen Rania on Saturday in Istanbul, where the Jordanian royal is accompanying King Abdullah on an official visit to Türkiye.

Sharing her thoughts about the meeting on social media, Erdogan said: “I was pleased to meet with Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, whom we are hosting in our country, in Istanbul.”

During the visit, Emine Erdogan and Queen Rania toured an exhibition at Dolmabahce Palace showcasing creations produced by Turkish Maturation Institutes. The display highlights “finely crafted works born out of the rich heritage” of traditional Turkish artistry.

Reflecting on the encounter, the Turkish first lady expressed hope that the engagement would contribute to closer relations, saying: “I hope that this meaningful meeting will further strengthen the friendship between our countries.”
